One of the real joys this holiday season is to have the opportunity to say thank you and wish you all the very best for the new year!
Over the course of the week November 14-18 Westbrook Associated Engineers, Inc. held a food drive to support the Spring Green Community Food Pantry. The employees were split into three teams to see which team could bring in the most food. Not only did this end up being a great team building exercise by bringing out that competitive edge but also helped bring in more items than we ever anticipated. In total, the employees of Westbrook Associated Engineers collected over 3,200 pieces of food! Westbrook also made a $250 donation to the food pantry to help in purchasing items to balance out the items the pantry is still in need of.
WAE would like to give additional thanks to Roundy’s of Mazomanie and Walmart of Dodgeville for their great generosity of food donations for this benefit along with the last-minute discounted goods from our locally owned grocery store Hometown, thanks Mark!
A job well done by the whole team at Westbrook Associated Engineers!
Happy Holidays to all!
Westbrook handled the the construction engineering for a bridge reconstruction
project on Sugar Creek Bible Camp Road over Sugar Creek near Ferryville, WI.
Westbrook was onsite for the entire project duration ensuring construction practices met WisDOT standards.
Key features on the bridge included concrete stained abutments
that resemble sandstone blocks and brown bridge railing.
We’ve been working on the I39/90 project for a few years now,
and some of the work is finally coming together. In Edgerton, WI two of our staff were able to get out on a boat to view the construction of the Northbound Rock River Bridge. The 54-inch prestressed girders have been set across the bridge, and the forms for pouring the deck are currently in place.
